Duerksen and Miyata penalised after Barcelona Qualifying

Following the conclusion of FIA Formula 2 Qualifying in Barcelona, Joshua Duerksen and Ritomo Miyata have been handed post-session penalties.
Firstly, Joshua Duerksen has been handed a grid penalty.
During the session, Car 2 of Duerksen was alleged to have made a yellow flag violation.
Following Qualifying, the Stewards reviewed available video and GPS evidence and heard from both the driver and Invicta Racing team representatives.
They established that the Paraguayan driver had failed to respect yellow flag requirements at Turn 14 following Ritomo Miyata’s crash, breaching Appendix H Article 2.5.5 b) of the FIA International Sporting Code.
As a result, they assigned him a five-place grid penalty. Duerksen will serve the penalty in both races this weekend.
Finally, Ritomo Miyata has been penalised following the Red Flag during the session.
The Hitech driver went off at the final corner, bringing out the Red Flags. After Qualifying, the Stewards determined that Miyata was the sole cause of the Red Flag stoppage.
As a result, the Japanese driver loses his fastest time in accordance with breached Article 33.5 of the FIA Formula 2 Sporting Regulations.
Having qualified in P13, those that ended the session behind the Hitech driver will be promoted up once place each on both grids.
Miyata has been given permission to start both races from the back of the grid in the Sprint and Feature Races after not having a laptime within 107%.
