Vesti penalised following Sakhir Feature Race

Frederik Vesti has received a five-place grid drop for causing a collision with Richard Verschoor in the Sakhir Feature Race.

On the opening lap, Vesti was on the inside approaching Turn 4, with Verschoor ahead on the outside and the pair collided just past the apex. The Stewards found that since the Van Amersfoort Racing driver left sufficient room at the apex, the PREMA Racing driver was wholly at fault for the collision.

The penalty will apply to the next race that the Dane participates in.
