We sat down with Felipe Drugovich to discuss his greatest influences. The UNI-Virtuosi racer looked back over the people who have inspired and impacted him throughout his fledging motorsport career.

AYRTON SENNA

“Growing up as a Brazilian who wants to make it into Formula 1, you are going to come across the name of Ayrton Senna many times. What he did was very special.

“The Senna name is iconic in the sport. Everyone in Brazil who thinks about F1, thinks about him. Everyone knows who he is and what he has done.”

NIKI LAUDA

“I think that Niki Lauda is someone to look up to. His courage to return to racing was incredible. He had so much passion for the sport. Plus, my last name, Drugovich, is from Austria, so that is a link as well.”

MY TWO UNCLES AND THE REST OF MY FAMILY

“My whole family are really supportive, but especially my uncles. My uncles are the ones who gave me my passion for motorsport, they have always helped me and they have always been there for me.

“My uncles taught me everything, they taught me how to be persistent and how to get better every single day.”
