Formula 2’s Chasing the Dream has been nominated for Best Sports Documentary of the Year at the Broadcast Sports Awards. The category focuses on factual sports television series from the past year that illuminate sporting stories and create insight for fans and newcomers alike.

Chasing the Dream follows the young stars of tomorrow as they fight for Championship glory and a spot on the Formula 1 grid. Each episode gives fans a closer look at the upcoming generation, their stories, personalities and pressures that come with each success and failure.

Chasing the Dream has pushed the fanbase of the Championship and the drivers ever higher since its inception. Single-seater racing’s penultimate step on the ladder now allows fans greater access with its behind-the-scenes perspective.

Charting the journeys of racing’s most talented prospects since 2019, the documentary series shows off the highly pressurised world of F2 through the lenses that follow them from day one in the Championship.

Before the TV cameras are pointed at F1’s new stars, they are fighting tooth and nail to make their dream a reality in Formula 2. Chasing the Dream is the encapsulation of that battle between pressure, potential and every moment in between. The cameras lift the veil to provide an unrivalled, honest and candid understanding into life as a Formula 2 driver with dreams of making it to the pinnacle of motorsport.

This year's awards will take place in the evening of November 1st in London.
