We hand the reigns over to Jack Aitken who crafts a new addition to the FIA Formula 2 calendar. Choosing everything from the country, to the celebrities that he would invite, the Campos Racing man creates a new race weekend.

Where would the race be held?

The UK of course, it has got to be the home country. Well, I say that, it was between England and Korea...And Scotland... Actually, I am having second thoughts now….

I am going with Scotland. It has a long history of motorsport, for such a small country. I will base the race at Knockhill, but have my own track.

Street or track race?

Track race. Some of it would be similar to Knockhill as it is now. When you come out of the last corner, the track will take you over the hill to the start/finish line. You are then going to dive left past the race control building, and into the gravel paddock and we are going to have a Rallycross section, with some jumps and high speed banking, and then you come back out onto a traditional circuit.

Being Scotland, the track will have a beautiful landscape - albeit monotone - but it is pretty cool and anyone who has ever been to that part of the world will know that it is really beautiful.

It is very hilly and there is a lot of wildlife around and the weather can be a bit sideways, which would make the racing interesting as well.

Day or night race?

Day race, it has got to be. A night race would cause some logistical issues I think - there isn't much to speak of in the way of lighting there.

Wet or dry race?

Wet for sure - torrential rain. It would be a nightmare and that is part of the charm of Scotland. You deal with it. Rain is great as well, because it is something that you don't get very often and it usually throws up some unpredictable racing.

What celebrity would attend the race?

To keep it close to home, and to keep travel costs down for the event - because we would want to run a tight ship - we would invite Sir Jackie Stewart.

He is a legend and he will have some great stories to tell, so I would love to have a proper sit down with him and have him at the event. I am sure that he would love Knockhill. It’s maybe not quite up to his usual standards, but it has got a charm to it, definitely.
