Adrián Campos is delighted with how his team’s 2025 season went, and while he says there are a few things they need to improve on moving forward, he is happy with his Campos Racing team performance.

The Spanish team finished third in the Teams’ Standings, achieving six victories and 11 podiums with their three drivers, Josep María Martí, Arvid Lindblad and Nikola Tsolov.

In addition to that, Campos scored 258 points, bettering their 2024 total by four, and looking back on how things went, their Team Principal is very happy.

MP Motorsport 2025 Season Review: Positives without prizes

“I think we can't complain,” said Campos on his team’s 2025 season. “Overall it has been a very good season in every category. In F3 obviously, but in F2, we had a few things that can always be improved, but it has been our best season so far for Campos.”

On the drivers that raced with the team this year, Campos praised all three of them, with Martí and Lindblad having won three races each, while Tsolov made it to the podium in the Yas Marina Sprint Race.

“All three of them have been great,” he said. “Pepe was the first driver that did his entire career with us. Since his first test ever in F4, all the way up to F2. He was not lucky enough to make it to F1, but he became professional, so I am happy for him.

“Nikola took his role and did a great job coming from Formula 3, coming to a new track and in a new car. Arvid, for the experience he had, he has been amazing. He has been improving throughout the year, he will have a great career in F1.”

It is the second consecutive campaign that Campos have helped a driver get promoted to Formula 1, with Lindblad following in the footsteps of Isack Hadjar of stepping up with Racing Bulls.

PREMA Racing’s 2025 Season Review: A lot of positives but more work to do

Campos says he and his team take great pride in being able to help these drivers achieve their dreams of getting to the top tier.

“I think everyone will agree with me that we are here to try to help the drivers reach F1, or at least become professional,” he explained. “In the last two seasons, this has been achieved with all the drivers that have been racing with us.

“So very happy for that, it's the main thing. We did not win the Championship, but the drivers became professional. That has to be the goal, if you get drivers to F1, more drivers will want to race with us, so that has to be the goal.”

Tsolov is set for his first full season with the team in 2026, and he will be joined by Noel León, with the duo working hard at the Yas Marina post-season testing last week.

It will be the first time with this generation of car that the Valencia-based team will field two rookies, and Campos expects that to be a challenge that they have to overcome.

“It's going to be the first year with the new car that we are racing with rookies,” he continued. “So for sure it will be challenging, but I am sure that they will develop properly.

“They will improve, they are now doing a lot of laps, they are learning all they need to learn the to start the season in a good shape. We will have another chance to try and win the Championship, so let’s see if 2026 is the year.”
