Brad Benavides penalised following Barcelona Feature Race

Brad Benavides has been handed a 30-second time penalty following the conclusion of the Barcelona Feature Race.

The PHM Racing by Charouz driver was assigned two separate time penalties during Sunday’s race for exceeding track limits. The team failed to carry out the in-race penalties in accordance with the regulations during the Race.

Following a post-race investigation by the Stewards, it was found the team began working on the car before it had been stationary for the full duration of the time penalties. As a result, Benavides has been handed a post-race drive-through penalty for the infringement which has been converted into a 30-second penalty.
