Nikola Tsolov was in a class of one across the Sprint and Feature Races, as the Campos Racing driver became the first to achieve three victories in a row in FIA Formula 2.

The Red Bull Junior Team driver was lost for words when he returned to the paddock and asked to assess his day, paying tribute to his team for their hard work so far in 2026.

"I feel over the moon. There's no words that I can describe the feeling. As a team we worked so well. We're truly a family. We managed to work on the car, work on ourselves and improve so much day by day.

"I think that's been the key to our success this year and we kept that up every time we could. The only thing to work on now is qualifying, to be honest. I think we've done a really good step in the races.

"I think I found a really nice compromise in my driving with the F2 cars that works really well to keep the tyres alive but still go fast. This weekend was probably my best driving of the year."

If there is one weakness in the armour so far this season, the Bulgarian points towards his single-lap speed. A top five result on Friday was hardly a disastrous performance, but he made up for that at the start of both races, instantly nullifying that 'setback'.

He believes that the speed he is showing at the moment is a combination of excellent dynamics between driver and team.

"In quali, we were struggling a bit. I thought my lap was really good, so it put us in P5. But then that really translated into the races even more when we managed to keep the tyres alive.

"It's a win-win, both me and the team. We were doing everything very well and that's what makes a dream team. As I said, it's a double act.

In the aftermath of Sunday's Feature Race, Tsolov admitted he couldn't quite digest what he'd achieved in setting a new record for consecutive race victories in FIA F2.

Three in a row and a clean sweep of Silverstone has only fuelled his confidence heading to a circuit he rates as one of his favourites on the calendar.

Rivals will be hoping the weekend off will reset his momentum but for the Campos driver, it's a chance to analyse everything the team did right and wrong in Silverstone and use that to find further improvements for Spa.

"Do I understand? Yes. Do I comprehend? Definitely don't comprehend it yet. I need to let it sink in a little bit. It's honestly crazy. Three wins in a row and as well to do with the double is something I definitely did not expect coming into this weekend.

"I'm looking forward to Spa quite a lot. The track is honestly amazing and it's one of my favourite on the calendar.

"I think we have a good momentum, and we'll just try to keep working during that one-week break and come back again in that same way and maybe even stronger to improve our quali pace."
