Would you Rather with Max Esterson

TRIDENT driver Max Esterson faces a stern test this weekend along with the rest of the grid as action resumes for Round 7 of the campaign, but first, he takes on the Would you Rather challenge.

“I would be a famous singer. I just like music more than movies.”

WIN YOUR HOME RACE ONCE OR THE MONACO GRAND PRIX THREE TIMES?

“I think Monaco. It’s the big one. Three is good too.”

WIN THE INDY 500 OR THE 24 HOURS OF LE MANS?

“Indy 500. It’s my home so…”

WIN FROM POLE OR WIN FROM LAST?

“Win from last would be amazing. Going from Pole it’s kind of expected that you should win, but if you win from last, it’s a great race.”

PERMANENT CIRCUIT OR STREET TRACK?

“Permanent circuit because the racing is better usually. I’d say Silverstone is my favourite.”

KARAOKE OR DANCE OFF?

“Dance off. I’m definitely not a good dancer but I’m not good at singing either.

FRONT ROW AT FASHION WEEK OR THE OSCARS?

“Can I say neither? No? I guess the Oscars. I don’t really care about movies, it’s not my thing.”

WIN THE TITLE WITHOUT WINNING A RACE OR WIN MULTIPLE TIMES BUT MISS OUT ON THE TITLE?

“Title for sure. It doesn’t matter if you don’t win a race, it’s about who has the most points at the end of the year.”

TOO HOT OR TOO COLD?

“I think too hot. When you’re cold, it’s not good. You can just put layers on. Being cold is the worst though.”

ROCKSTAR OR ASTRONAUT?

“I think rockstar. I like staying on Earth. Not a huge musician but I’d stick on planet Earth. Space is a bit scary…”

“Submarines scare me but space travel is more dangerous. Space would be a cooler experience I think.”

EAT WITH A SPOON OR A FORK FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?

“Fork. It’s more useful and you eat more things with a fork. Steak, pasta… spoons are only for soup. You could even eat ice cream with a fork if you had to.”

KNOW EVERY LANGUAGE IN THE WORLD OR BE ABLE TO READ MINDS?

“I think every language, especially with what we do. I know Spanish a bit. Italian I need to learn a bit more for TRIDENT. Their English is good enough!”

“Dry tyres in the wet. If you’re on fully wet tyres in the dry, it’s over. I experienced that at Silverstone when I started from second…”

TRAIN FOR A MARATHON OR A 100-METRE SPRINT?

“100-metre Sprint. Not so good at running. I tried running and was getting into it, but I hurt my foot. I think I sprained it or something.”

UNDERDRESSED OR OVERDRESSED?

“Overdressed. It’s less embarrassing and it’s bad when you show up to something underdressed. So going overdressed is definitely better.”
